HERSHEL AND THE HANUKKAH GOBLINS returns to Civic’s Theatre in this playful & bright production, adapted for the stage by Z Puppets’ Shari Aronson.

Based on the beloved story by Eric Kimmel, the story follows Hershel of Ostropol as he arrives in a village on the first night of Hanukkah to find the villagers too frightened to celebrate. A band of goblins has taken over the old synagogue on the hill, blowing out candles, breaking dreidels, and destroying the holiday spirit. Hershel must be the one to bravely step forward and stand up to the goblins.

A joyful celebration of courage, cleverness, and light for the whole family.
