Tales of ᏓᎦᏏ Dagsi Turtle and ᏥᏍᏚ Jisdu Wabbit

 is a 45-minute musical performance with video projection, costumed performers and puppets. The show travels in a van with two performers who will also load-in and set up.

Set-up can be accomplished in most venues within four hours. TALES is designed for a proscenium stage, but can be performed in a large open room.

SET: The set is a 7.5’ high x 6.5’ wide backdrop (3.5' deep) projection screen with two 6.5' x 3' puppet stages on either side. In front of the backdrop is a prop console 6' x 3' x 3' on wheels. Company will travel with tripod rigging, screen and props.

LIGHTS: TALES uses a large projection screen as a backdrop. Performers will bring their own short throw projector to use behind the screen. Areas to be lit are marked A and B, as well as downstage center. An ideal set up is to plug dimmers into the show Macbook running Qlab cues controlled by performers during show. With adequate setup time, performers can bring and set up their own lighting instruments.

SOUND: SISIPI has two vocal headset microphones that travel with the show (XLR input), one ukulele/guitar wireless input (1/4”), and audio from show Macbook. Performers will bring their own PA system. An ipad or CD player provides pre-show music.

MINIMUM STAGE DIMENSIONS:

  • Depth: 10’ (back wall to lip of stage) minimum

  • Width – 16’ minimum

  • Height – 10’ mandatory

DRESSING ROOMS: At least one dressing room with adequate heating and cooling, hot water and toilets separate from public must be provided.

PARKING: Parking for one van is required.

FRONT OF HOUSE: Late seating is allowed.
