Through catchy songs and fun storytelling, award-winning Z Puppets' artists, Cherokee tribal member Chris Griffith and Shari Aronson, lead an adventure into an indigenous language.
Sing along and you, too, will learn how to count to three, make the basic sounds, say hello and thank you in Cherokee!

Add our online Quest for Calm mini-workshops and youth and families from your community can guest star in the virtual show! Youth (ages 6+) respond to our simple Sailor challenges with photos and video which we edit into the show
Find Your Island of Calm: Playful Mindfulness Workshop
Launch into creative tools for finding calm through a sampling of the story, characters and songs of Monkey Mind Pirates. Get your whole family moving with this mix of puppets, yoga/mindfulness and music.

The Comical Misadventures of Mr. Punch

STEAM Puppet Making Lab
Let the creative sparks fly while you explore the science, technology, engineering, math and art of making a puppet! Turn simple materials and "around the house" stuff into characters and creatures with the power of your imagination. Experiment with the design and engineering process shared by scientists and artists- and come up with your own innovations.

Secret Life of Puppets
Take a trip around the world and throughout the ages to learn the tricks of turning sticks, cloth, string and even your own hands into fun characters. Z Puppets will present a dynamic demonstration of different styles of puppets that have popped up across our planet with dips into history, culture and hands-on exploration of what’s behind the magic!
