This interactive demonstration will take you into the tricks and techniques of bringing characters alive by just using your hands, simple objects, action and reaction. No experience nor puppets needed — just a willingness to jump in and have fun experimenting (with opportunities to share your discoveries). Learn creative tools for finding calm with Minneapolis artists, Z Puppets Rosenschnoz, and their Monkey Mind Pirates adventure combining puppets, music and yoga. The fun story, catchy music and loveable characters engage youth of all abilities with simple, easy to use techniques for navigating the stormy seas of stress, distraction and anxiety.

After 30 minutes of fun, interactive group activities, all will be invited to take part in drawing and writing activities on the Island of Calm. No experience nor equipment required.
