ABOUT Z PUPPETS ROSENSCHNOZ (ZPR):
ZPR was founded and is led by Chris Griffith (Cherokee Nation) and Shari Aronson. They bring the power of playfulness to people of all ages and abilities through live and online performances, arts education and feats of imagination.
ZPR has created 30+ original shows for family audiences — from a glow-in-the-dark performance of cell division to musical adventures into Cherokee Futurism.
Chris leads ZPR’s Cherokee Futurism live performances, music videos and web series, engaging Native and Non-Native youth and families in Indigenous language, culture and history. He has also created a Native puppetry cohort.
ZPR has produced two Before Chicago Avenue Native Arts Festivals, a window gallery of Indigenous art and mural commissions and a music video for legendary Ojibwe rocker Keith Secola.
Behold! The Power of Playfulness.
